Underwater NSR Repair

Welcome to North Sea Resins

North Sea Resins™ manufactures Rapid Leak Repair products that utilize NSR® light-activated resins.  These one-part resins require no mixing, bond with a variety of materials wet or dry, and chemically resist most industrial fluids.  NSR® resins cure in 30 seconds under visible blue light, saving considerable time and money.

NSR® resins were engineered by researchers working in a study sponsored by the Department of Defense. In order to meet strict Defense standards, our resins are engineered to cure in air or underwater, within extreme temperature ranges (28°F and 104°F), without impacting strength characteristics. NSR® Light Sources, included in every repair kit, are designed to emit the activating visible blue-light in harsh conditions. Our Light Sources and resins are not harmful or dangerous to handle.

As a repair product, NSR® products bond with composite materials, copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, FRP, PVC, ABS, HDPE, wood, and concrete. Repairs can be completed on low-pressure lines, but we recommend that you relieve the pressure on a leak before you begin to repair it. NSR® resins are chemically resistant to many industrial fluids and NSR-150 and NSR-250 are UL certified for use on drinking water systems. As a filler, sealant, or adhesive, NSR® resins serve a variety of applications. After the short curing period, the resin can be sanded and painted. Contact our customer service team, if you have application questions.
